On Wednesday 26 April a selection of our Year 7 and Year 8 students undertook the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge 2023. This is a challenge which targets the school’s most able mathematicians in a variety of mathematical problems. There were a total of 51 students who entered the competition, where a range of medals were achieved by many of our excellent mathematicians. A massive congratulations to Exodus and Annabelle, Year 7s for achieving the joint highest score in their year group! Another massive congratulations to Tristan, Year 8, who not only got the highest in their year group but also got the highest score in the school! Well done to everyone who competed in the challenge; Mr Tregidga and Mr Pinhay were extremely proud of them all. They should also be proud of themselves!
