We are looking to recruit a talented teacher of Science to deliver engaging lessons that will inspire our students to succeed across Key Stages 3 and 4.  The successful candidate can expect to join an excellent department of hardworking staff who are collectively passionate and proud of their teaching activities that inspire and nurture our learners and achieve outstanding outcomes.  The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality and well-resourced environment and could suit either an experienced or a newly qualified teacher. 

Depending on experience there is the potential for an internal responsibility (maternity cover):

  • KS3 Co-ordinator, or
  • Science Outreach and Transition Lead

22 - 37 hours per week, 46.784 total paid weeks per annum

(term time only + 12 days INSET and during school holidays)

£22,418 - £25,755 per annum

(this salary to be proportionately reduced to reflect total paid weeks)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and helpful member of staff to provide support to our Exams Officer.  The successful candidate will be positive, adaptable and enthusiastic, and be passionate about working with young people within an educational setting.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential.  We are able to offer a training package for the right candidate with the opportunity for increased responsibility within the role.

This position will require the successful candidate to:

  • demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail
  • show flexibility and initiative whilst working in a fast-paced environment
  • prioritise workloads effectively
  • have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • be a people person who can work as part of a team
  • be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths, grade C/4 and above/relevant level 3 qualifications
