We are looking to recruit a talented and creative teacher to deliver outstanding learning in Design Technology (Food) to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.  Design Technology is a supportive department of committed and hardworking staff who are collectively passionate and proud of their teaching activities that inspire and nurture our learners. The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality and well-resourced environment. 

This position is temporary and subject to the usual provisos associated with a maternity leave.

30 - 37 hours per week negotiable, 44.6 total paid weeks per annum (term time only)

£22,418 - £31,003 per annum (dependent on experience)

(this salary to be proportionately reduced to reflect part-time working)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and helpful member of staff to maintain our School Information Management System (SIMS), to include all relevant student data assessments and processes, and assist in the set up of all school data platforms.  The successful candidate will be positive, adaptable and enthusiastic, and be passionate about working with young people within an educational setting.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential.  We are able to offer a training package for the right candidate with the opportunity for increased responsibility within the role.

This position will require the successful candidate to:

  • demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail
  • show flexibility and initiative whilst working in a fast-paced environment
  • prioritise workloads effectively
  • have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • be a people person who can work as part of a team
  • be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths, grade C/4 and above/relevant level 3 qualifications
