The Geography department took a group of students on an epic trip to Iceland, where they visited tectonic hazards like Kerid volcanic crater, Gullfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, the black sand beach and experienced the city of Reykjavik! They were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, after an evening of swimming in a geothermal pool, ending the extraordinary day off with an Icelandic ice cream. An amazing experience was had by all!
