Year 11 student, Jay Davies, has just been elected as a member of the Youth Parliament, representing West Cornwall. As a MYP, Jay will be involved in influencing decision makers and engaging young people in politics, developing a close working relationship with the county's six MPs. Jay is already very community driven and is a committed and active member of the Wave project, which helps teach young people subjects through surfing, based in St Ives.
