Stem Festival

Fifty students were selected to visit Plymouth University to attend the Festival of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths). The event began with a lecture on Artificial Intelligence and considered how computers are being programmed to become more a part of every day life. Students had a number of events in the STEM Marquee with hands on activities including virtual reality, learning and working robots, chemistry in action, blood testing, monitoring of earthquakes and weather, maths in engineering and wave technology. Students enjoyed the event enormously.
