Students Moving to Redruth School in September 2021

For parents and carers with children starting at Redruth School in September, the Government have announced that with consent, 2 lateral flow tests will take place, 3-5 days apart for students returning to school. Please complete the online consent form below, to let us know if you are consenting or not to this. You can also return the paper copy that has been sent to you, or complete over the phone by contacting the school, 01209 203700.

Students Moving to Secondary School in September 2022

Redruth School recognises that the move from primary to secondary school is a significant event for both pupils and parents alike. We know that each child will be both nervous and excited about joining a secondary school. Our open evening for students joining secondary school in September 2022 is on Tuesday 21 September from 5pm-8.30pm. You can also now book Super Saturdays via this link: Super Saturdays Bookings

We have a dedicated transition team to help at this time of change. Mrs Laura McTeare, Assistant Headteacher, oversees the transition, together with a small number of significant staff to support the process: Mrs Alex Kettlewell, Deputy Headteacher, Mr Eugene Clemence, SENCO and Mr Dave Bartlett, Y7 Progress Leader. For those students joining us in September 2021, we are looking forward to meeting your child in person at our summer school and at the start of the Autumn term and being able to welcome them in the traditional manner.
