Our CCF Ten Tors team set off for Dartmoor on 20 January for navigation training. Starting at Anthony’s Stile, they crossed to Sourton Tor learning about map and compass navigation, dealing with water crossings and emergency safety procedures. It was a chilly day with ice on the tors and a bitter wind but the team were all smiles and their knowledge and confidence had grown. Our first camp out will be on the weekend of 24 February when we have been told the sun will be shining!
