Year 11 student, Joseph Varley, was interviewed last week by ITV Westcountry Live in a news article about the recent announcement that GCSEs would no longer be taking place later this year. Joseph spoke about how the school has prepared ahead of this, through assessment and test papers. In a message to Year 11 parents Headteacher, Mr Martin, thanked the families of Redruth School for their support in ensuring learning continues at home. "Our Year 11 students are demonstrating their determination and resilience to continue their successful progress, of which they should be commended."
