Twelve students were selected to attend a launch event at Bath University recently. Students were given the opportunity to receive two university lectures and a tutorial with their PhD lecturer who will be working with them to complete their research project.

Over the next 8 weeks they will be working with Dr Kerrie Bramhall in school on 'Re-Imagining the Past: The Photograph as a Witness in Turkey Kurdistan'. The students demonstrated that they had real insight into the use of photographs as a historical witness and left the university with their first piece of research, keen to get started.
