Environment Investigations...Geography students collect evidence

Posted on: 13/05/2022

Our Year 10 geography students have been out on fieldwork this week, collecting data for their two investigations. During the morning, students analysed changes in housing in the town of Helston, comparing the urban area to the Burgess Model. During the afternoon, students visited the River Cober, investigating the changes to the river by taking width and depth measurements and analysing the engineering methods,  to see how the flood management has altered the lower course.

A great time was had by all.
