Redruth School Remembers

Posted on: 11/11/2020

Today the school observed a 2 minutes silence at 11am for students and staff to remember and reflect on those who have given their all for us. During the week students have been involved in assemblies thinking about the effects war has on people around them.

Students have been able to show support for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal by donating throughout th week in their year group bubbles. Students involved in a uniformed group such as Scouts, Guides, Cadets and Explorers were invited to wear their uniform to school, smartly representing their organisations.

One of our students, Callum, decided to do his own fund raising and adorned his home with 1111 poppies. If you would like to donate to Callum's JustGiving page, here is link
